What time do tours start and how long are they?

Our tours all generally start at the same time. Cowichan pickup at 10:30am and Victoria or Nanaimo pickup at 10:00am. We leave our last stop at about 3:30pm.

How do we book?

All bookings can be made online or over the phone at (250) 900-1914.

Can we drink on the bus?

Unfortunately, consumption of alcohol on the bus is prohibited.

What songs are in the karaoke library?

You can check out our karaoke library.  Are we missing any good ones?! Please send us an email and let us know what you'd like to see added. Just give us a few days notice before your tour and we'll be sure it have it lined up for you. 

 

How much time do we have at each location?

We have approximately forty-five minutes to one hour to spend at each location 

 

How big can our group be?

Our bus is able to accommodate up to 16 guests and the minimum requirement to run a tour is 6 guests.

Will the booking be private?

If you'd like to book the bus privately, there is a minimum requirement of 10 guests. If you are 6-9 guests there is a chance another group may be on the tour with you. We've seen groups leave as best friends from our public tours! It can end up being twice as fun.

What is your tour cancellation policy?

Public Tours: Cancellations within 6 weeks of the booking date will incur a $50 fee per guest. 
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the booking date are nonrefundable.

Private Tours:

Cancellations within 3 months of the booking date incur a $50 fee per guest. 
Cancellations within 1 month of the booking date are nonrefundable. 

 

Is lunch included?

 

Wine Tours

The wineries we visit have limited food options but several do have picnic policies that allow outside food. For our wine tours, we are happy to arrange a sandwich platter for a no fuss lunch option that you can select on the booking form ($10/guest). Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Alternatively, you're welcome to pack your own picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the stops. There is plenty of space on the bus for coolers. You're welcome to bring snacks for the ride too!

Craft Mixed Tours

There will be an opportunity to purchase lunch at Red Arrow Brewery. You're welcome to bring snacks for the bus as well.

How far in advance should we book?

We get bookings coming in anywhere from one week to six months out. But on average, most bookings are made about two in advance. We advise booking in advance particularly for the summer months to ensure you get the date you’d like. Saturdays tend to be our most popular day for bookings.

Can we add guests to a booking later?

We understand that it can be quite the challenge to wrangle a group of people together. If you have a booking date you are sure of but need to confirm the total number of guests, we suggest that you book a tour for the minimum number of guests that are confirmed. In the online booking form, leave us a note stating the total number of guests you estimate you’ll be. That way we can secure the booking for the estimated amount and confirm the total guests closer to the date. Please confirm the total number of guests at least a couple of weeks before the tour date.

Which wineries will we go to?

We determine which wineries in the Cowichan Valley to visit based on a number of factors. Time of year, group size, availability, tour occasion, location of pickup, etc.
